Indigo values connection as the heart of her therapeutic work. She focuses on creating an authentic and compassionate space where people feel safe to explore their experiences. Her approach invites curiosity and shared understanding, helping clients recognise their strengths and the patterns that may be shaping their current challenges. Indigo aims to support people as they move toward living a life that reflects their values and aspirations.
Indigo has experience working across the lifespan and supports a broad range of concerns. This includes anxiety and panic, mood challenges, the effects of trauma and complex trauma, learning difficulties, body image and eating concerns, life transitions, substance use, relationship difficulties, and identity exploration related to gender, sexuality and neurodivergence. Indigo is committed to providing therapy that is authentically neuro affirming and trauma informed.
Indigo enjoys working creatively with children and adolescents to build trust and engagement. She values the involvement of meaningful third parties to encourage collaborative support and impactful change. She also supports adults who are navigating substance use concerns, unhealthy relationship patterns, and the impact of complex trauma.
Indigo primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). She also draws from Schema Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) when these approaches align with a client’s needs and personality.
